Speaking at the Dangote Special Day during the 46th Kaduna International Trade Fair, Fatima Wali-Abdurrahman, a company representative, highlighted how advanced digitalization is optimizing operations across various industries.
“Our plants and factories are fully digitalized, utilizing Central Control Rooms (CCRs) to streamline production, enhance safety, and improve efficiency,” she stated.
With real-time data tracking from smart sensors and AI-powered dashboards, Dangote’s automated processes have revolutionized its cement, sugar, salt, fertilizers, petrochemical, and agricultural divisions.
Faster Orders, Seamless Distribution
Dangote has also redefined product distribution with its Distributor Management System (DMS). The once time-consuming three-day order process now takes just five minutes, thanks to a user-friendly mobile app available on Android and iOS.
Driving Nigeria’s Auto Industry
Kaduna is home to the Dangote Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (DPAN) plant, which produces 44,000 vehicles annually, including Peugeot’s Landtrek, 3008, 5008, and 508 GT models. DPAN’s digitized supply chain ensures seamless delivery and supports Nigeria’s goal of reducing import dependency.
Empowering Agriculture with Innovation
Recognizing Kaduna’s agricultural strength, Dangote’s locally assembled Peugeot Landtrek pickup is designed for efficient farm transport. Additionally, the **Dangote Fertilizer Plant—the largest in Africa—**integrates digital soil testing and precision farming tools to boost crop yields.
