Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has hailed his team’s resilience as they continue to defy expectations in their hunt for a treble this season. At the start of his reign, few believed the Catalan giants would be competing on three fronts in March, but they currently lead La Liga, have reached the Copa del Rey semi-finals, and are gearing up for the Champions League knockout stage.

Speaking ahead of their La Liga clash with Real Sociedad, Flick acknowledged the packed fixture list but insisted his squad is fully committed.

“The team is doing really great—no excuses, just focus on the next match,” he said. “We are fighting for three trophies, and when the season began, nobody expected us to be in this position.”

With a crucial Champions League clash against Benfica midweek, Flick hinted at squad rotations against Sociedad but remained tight-lipped about specific changes.

However, the German coach confirmed a setback for Danish defender Andreas Christensen, who has suffered a fresh injury just as he was set to return.

“He was an option for tomorrow, but he got injured again in training,” Flick revealed. “We are assessing the severity, and hopefully, it’s not too serious.”

Barcelona’s fight for silverware continues, and with Flick at the helm, they are proving doubters wrong every step of the way.
