After a heated social media exchange, Pastor Femi Lazarus of Light Nation Church and renowned singer Timi Dakolo have reconciled, putting their recent dispute to rest.

The two had clashed over the issue of charging fees for ministry work, with Dakolo questioning why Pastor Lazarus charges for his school of ministry while criticizing gospel musicians who demand payment for performing in churches. Pastor Lazarus defended his stance, stating that his school is an educational institution, while Dakolo maintained that gospel artists have financial responsibilities too.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Pastor Lazarus took to Instagram on Monday evening to announce their reconciliation. Sharing a photo of himself, Dakolo, and Pastor Iren, he described Dakolo as a music legend and acknowledged the weight the singer carries on behalf of fellow musicians.

“My brother Timi Dakolo is a music legend, give him his flowers. What a man! He genuinely carries the burdens of musicians. His concerns are real. I love you. Better structures will be built. Pain is real. From pulpits to the pew, the pain is real, but we will be fine,” Pastor Lazarus wrote.
