Governor Chukwuma Soludo is officially in the race for a second term as the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) clears him to contest in the party’s primary election set for April 5, 2025. Soludo, who has already received widespread endorsements from various groups and individuals, picked up his nomination forms at the APGA National Secretariat in Abuja.
The party’s National Working Committee, led by Ezeokenwa Sly, officially certified him as a qualified candidate for the upcoming primary, marking a key milestone in Anambra State’s electoral history. Soludo becomes the first aspirant to seek re-election under APGA, thanks to his notable achievements during his first term.
The primary election promises to be a landmark event, with over 3,260 delegates expected to choose their preferred candidate. APGA’s leadership has been commended for ensuring a smooth, peaceful screening process, free of controversy.
As the primary election draws near, APGA members and supporters are hopeful about the future of the party and the state, anticipating another term of progressive leadership and impactful governance under Soludo’s continued leadership.
