Breaking News: Otobi Community Under Heavy Attack in Benue State

Alarming reports of a violent attack unfolding in Otobi Community, located in Otukpo Local Government Area, Benue State. Eyewitnesses say that at approximately 9:00 PM tonight, armed assailants, believed to be kidnappers or militants, stormed the Otobi Dam area, where a young security guard tragically lost his life.

The attackers then moved into the heart of Otobi town, unleashing a barrage of gunfire that has left residents terrified and scrambling for safety.

In an exclusive statement to AkweyaTV, Mr. John Scoty Anyebe, National President of the Otobi Community Development Association, confirmed the attack and reported that as of 11:00 PM, tension remains high, with locals mobilizing to confront the ongoing threat.

Attempts to reach the Benue State Police Command for official details have so far been unsuccessful.
