Young people across Canada are set to benefit from 70,000 new job opportunities this summer as part of the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program. The initiative, announced by Minister for Women, Gender Equality, and Youth, Marci Ien, aims to provide valuable work experience while supporting youth financially.

Starting April 21, 2025, job seekers aged 15 to 30 can apply for roles in various industries, including hospitality, marketing, tourism, housing construction, and environmental protection. The program prioritizes opportunities for Indigenous youth, racialized communities, and individuals with disabilities, ensuring a more inclusive workforce.

With a $351.2 million investment under the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS), the government is committed to preparing young Canadians for long-term career success. Minister Ien emphasized that the program is more than just job creation—it’s about skill-building and career development.

Interested applicants can explore available positions via the Job Bank website and mobile app.
