Ogun Bolsters Security: 500 New Amotekun Operatives to Be Recruited

In a bid to strengthen security across Ogun State, Governor Dapo Abiodun has approved the recruitment of 500 additional operatives into the Amotekun Corps.

The Corps Commander, Brig. Gen. Alade Adedigba (rtd), announced that the recruitment process will commence on Monday, March 10, 2025, just two months after 690 operatives completed their training. He emphasized that this initiative reaffirms the government’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property.

Interested applicants can apply for free via the official Amotekun website (ogunstateamotekun.com.ng) before the portal closes on Friday, April 4, 2025. A rigorous screening exercise is scheduled from April 22 to May 1, 2025, to ensure only the best candidates are selected.

“This recruitment is a crucial step toward enhancing the operational strength of the Amotekun Corps, ensuring better security for all Ogun residents,” Adedigba stated.

Eligible residents are encouraged to apply and be part of the mission to create a safer Ogun State.
