JUST IN: Ado Local Government Chairman Attends Burial of Late Augustine Ogbole Aluma

The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area, Engr. Sunny Oche, attended the burial ceremony of Late Augustine Ogbole Aluma, father of his Special Adviser on Media and Strategic Communications, Mr Moses Aluma.

Late Augustine Ogbole Aluma, who passed away on March 8, 2026, in Okpoga, Okpokwu LGA, after a brief illness, was laid to rest on Friday, April 24, 2026, in his hometown of Oko, Orokam, in Ogbadibo Local Government Area.

The Chairman, accompanied by members of his delegation, was received on arrival in Okpoga by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman of Okpokwu Local Government, Hon. Inalegwu Abba, alongside party supporters.

In his condolence message, Engr. Oche described the loss as deeply painful, not only to the immediate family but also to friends and associates who knew the deceased as a man of dignity, discipline, and admirable values. He noted that the legacy of Late Aluma is evident in the responsible upbringing and character of his children.

While commiserating with Hon. Moses Aluma and the entire family, the Chairman urged them to take solace in the exemplary life lived by their late patriarch. He emphasised that death is an inevitable passage ordained by nature and encouraged the family to find comfort in the impactful and worthy life the deceased lived.

According to the Chairman, the most fitting way to honour the memory of Late Augustine Ogbole Aluma is by upholding the virtues he embodied, humility, integrity, and unwavering commitment to family and community.

On behalf of the staff and the good people of Ado Local Government Area, Engr. Oche extended heartfelt condolences to Hon. Moses Aluma, the Aluma family, and the people of Oko, Orokam, acknowledging their efforts in ensuring a successful burial ceremony. He prayed for the eternal repose of the departed soul and for strength and fortitude for the family during this difficult time.

The Chairman was accompanied to the venue of the burial ceremony in Okpoga by the Leader of the Ado Legislative House, Hon. Agbo Adadu; the Majority Leader, Barr. Francis Ojoko; the Protocol Officer to the Chairman, Hon. Moses Onumah; and a party stalwart, Hon. Frank Adejor.
