The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area, Engr. Sunny Oche, has paid a condolence visit to the Makurdi residence of Prof. Eugene Aliegba following the passing of his mother. Prof. Aliegba, a former governorship aspirant in Benue State and a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), received the Chairman and his delegation at the family’s country home in Makurdi.
Speaking during the visit, Engr. Oche expressed deep sympathy to Prof. Aliegba and the entire family, describing the loss of a mother as a painful experience that words can scarcely heal. He stated that the late matriarch lived a life of virtue, sacrifice, and service, adding that her values were evident in the accomplishments and contributions of her children to society.
The Chairman noted that the deceased left behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, discipline, and devotion that would continue to inspire those who came in contact with her. He encouraged the family to take solace in the impactful life she lived and the cherished memories she left behind, while praying to God to grant them the strength and comfort needed to bear the irreplaceable loss.
The Chairman further assured Prof. Aliegba and the entire family of the prayers and solidarity of the people and leadership of Ado Local Government during this period of mourning. He prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased and asked God Almighty to grant the family fortitude and peace.
