The Chairman of Ado Local Government Council, Engr. Sunny Oche, has congratulated Chief Dr Okibe Onoja, CON, the Akanaba K’Idoma and Agama Y’Agila, on his 78th birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message, the Chairman described Chief Dr Onoja as a distinguished son of Ado whose remarkable career, philanthropy and commitment to community development have brought honour to his people and the nation.
Engr. Oche said attaining the age of 78 is a significant milestone and an opportunity to celebrate a life marked by service, achievement and generosity. He commended the celebrant for consistently using his resources and influence to support individuals, communities and institutions.
The Chairman specifically acknowledged Chief Dr Onoja’s contributions to infrastructure, education and healthcare, including the construction of the Agila–Akpoge road and other road projects in Otukpo, support for indigent students, assistance to people seeking medical treatment abroad, and substantial contributions to institutions such as Benue State University and the University of Mkar.
He further commended Chief Dr Onoja for his record of public service and his continued identification with his people and grassroots development. According to him, the celebrant’s experience, goodwill and commitment to humanity have made him a respected elder and a source of pride to Ado Local Government.
Engr. Oche expressed the Local Government’s appreciation for Chief Dr Onoja’s contributions and wished him many more years of good health, peace and fulfilment.
He prayed that God would continue to grant the celebrant wisdom and strength to advance the cause of his community and humanity, while assuring him of the Local Government’s continued respect for and willingness to benefit from his fatherly counsel and guidance.
